Wow, sounds like he's still not getting the rather simple point that generalizations across culturally transmitted systems can often be explained by features of the system and its transmission. "All languages follow VO or OV order", even to the extent that it's true, speaks no more to a Chomskyan LAD than "all jurisdictions drive on either the right side of the road or the left side" speaks to an innate driving module, nor do we need to find a country that switches on Thursdays to make this point.
